Default Cheap places to stay in Liverpool?
Thinking of taking the gf down for her birthday.... providing I can find a cheap enough place to stay. Don't really want to spend over £100 say? on accommodation. Also want to be near Albert docks for all the beatles stuff. Would be 9-11th of Nov probably. And i've tried the travel lodge, holiday inn and sold out.

When i was in Liverpool i stayed in a Euro hostel, £30 a night, 2 beds.

v.close to the docs.

I'll look for the site.

we tried the same thing (cheap hotel, not the romantic break to liverpool ), and stayed in birkenhead. the hotel was cheap, but it's a dump and we had to pay to go through the tunnel all the time so it wasn't that great.

so i don't really know what my point is. liverpool's great though :thup:
