Hey there all. My 1st thread in Off Topic. And I Wanted to just make a thread about Futsal, and developement of it in The UK and Around the World.
Well, my team is starting on Sunday in our 1st league game, at my Schools Gym/Sports Hall. Its also the communites sports hall. So its huge, and a part of it has just been developed especially for Futsal, and we have got an England Futsal Coach setting it up. So it should be good fun
So i was just wondering what you guys thought of the game, and its development around the world!. Ok Thanks.
Seemed to have started pretty brightly, I remember a load of brazilians coming in to my school years ago trying to promote it. They were talking about an Irish Futsal league and stuff, I would have done it but I never hear anything about it these days.
Seems to be pretty big in Ireland and Scotland. As they always have teams to take away too foreign Tournaments. so ill let you know how my team gets on. Before i started the team, they were all like. OMG are you having a laugh? Why would we want to do futsal, and taking the mick, saying "and its a throw in.... oopss i mean a kick in". What do you think about the rules of the game?
I hate indoor football. You can't do proper tackles and it ****s up your knees. I mean, I like the way Futsal brings an element of skill to the game by having lines not boards, but it's still so fs it needs flushing into the north sea.

The whole idea of futsal is to promote skill, pace, technique and things like that which would explain why slide tackles are banned.
