Buy a copy of Time Out New York at a newsstand or bookstore and see what looks interesting. They have a comprehensive weekly listing of things to do. (Film, sports, clubs, art, etc., etc.)
If you come up with nothing you could always kill time watching EPL matches in a soccer bar.
Or just go to Central Park, Washington Square Park, Union Square, or any of the other parks in Manhattan and people watch. General rule of thumb: the further downtown, the better looking the women. (May stop working after Soho.)

go for a stroll in central park, pop and see where Lennon got popped, then walk down that avenue to a nice little irish bar opposite where babe ruth used to live, see Grand Central Station, helicopter ride if you can afford it, ice skating at rockerfeller thing, times sq worth a look but dont buy anything.

| have a mate flying in from London on Saturday. I live in Manhattan.
Ice skating aint up yet in Central park or Rockerfella.
Go down to the Village/Soho during the day, relax in the evening with a meal and make sure you have lots of energy to go out becuase you can club all night then go to an after party.
