wooze is infamous around these parts
Default Whats the program that ends programs or processes?
Windows task manager wont let me end a process but norton wont uninstall until the program ends (vicious circle here).

Can anyone remember the name?

In the runbox you can type msconfig and stop processes on startups.

You'll need to go to the startup tab and you can untick whatever ones you don't want to load up.
