Seconded. I had the misfortune to go to a Cup game in '84 or '85. Never again

It's not that "fierce" to be honest. Liverpool v Man Utd is more fierce. </BLOCKQUOTE>

It's getting moreso as we get better and Everton get more bitter.

But no, probably doesn't win.

City v Rovers clearly much fiercer though, the Cardiff one became an ersatz derby when Rovers were in the division below (and obviously still are)

really?

alot of the rivalry comes from them being jealous of us and it built because we rarely played each other so when we did all hell broke loose. now its the other way round

I know it's not English, but I've never been to anything like Hibs vs Rangers or the Old Firm.

Actually, I think the Hibs game was worse cause it was in Easter Road.

Southend v Colchester is not too pleasant either. I can vividly remember a punch-up at the away when we played Colchester in a pre-season game.

Also just as bad on the pitch as well, near enough the last few times we've played them someone's been sent off.

The Bristol derby is magnificent. Mainly because it's not violent between the sets of supporters, just outright contemptuous.
