Zaitsev - I think you are being a little unfair on Moyes. Yes he got it terribly wrong, yes he is a one trick pony, but its some trick. He is doing well in the league and has made us far better. For this game he should have played a similiar formation to his usual or gone 4-4-2.
I don`t know why he decided to go for it with the stupid formation, but one result does not a bad manager make. He just got it wrong this time.
You all hated Walter Smith, but he got Rangers tactics spot on and beat Stuttgart with an average side. He also did very well for Scotland in European style games, but he never managed to do what Moyes has done in the league.
Sacking Moyes would be as bad a decision for us, as Chelsea's decision to sack Jose for them. We are still not good enough to attract someone better, we don`t have the money to bank-roll a new managers plans either.
On the plus side of all this, i thought Anichebe looked good when he came on. He looked far better than both AJ and Yakubu.
And on the penalty taker note, McFadden takes an awesome penalty as he is so confident, he would probaly have dinked it
