tbh it was probably cheaper because it was region 1. Not a lot of demand for region 1 dvds on ebay.co.uk i bet.

Matt, I dont take kindly to being called an idiot, I didnt start the thread to state that I had been done by a scammer. As an experienced eBay user I took a chance on what may have been a bargain, as a Paypal user I know I am covered and was able to take the chance.

In the past I have recieved dodgy looking DVDs but we all know that it is more than likely to happen when the seller is based abroad, the seller in this case states that the item is in the UK.

The purpose of the thread was to find out if any one had experience of recieving dodgy DVDs when you expected the real deal and what to do; i.e. report them to eBay/paypal

The seller all but confessed to me that they were conterfeit when he coughed up a refund after my second email stated I would be contacting paypal about the sale.

Please in future read what people have posted and answer their question only, your comments did not help me and only served to fill the thread with nonsense.
