This happen all the time to teachers then?
Some Year 7 scallywag tried to let the tyre down on my bike today. Unluckily for him the Head caught him in the act.
Having said that, it's the only incident that has happened to me or a colleague or an acquaintance in the trade in eight years.
Best story I heard was of an independent school in the Midlands. They were all hoo-rah about their 'pupil/laptop' programme, where each child had a laptop. They used to have assemblies in the church across the road from the school, same time, every Friday with all the boys told to leave their bags outside in the porch.
Well, someone caught wind of this as all 100+ laptops were stolen during one of their assemblies. Great security, there.
