Most I've paid for any competitive match was the 2005 Heineken Cup Final. £96 for two tickets, in fantastic seats. So no, I wouldn't pay £55 for a ticket unless, say, it was the final of a cup competition or something.

Even season tickets work out dearer at millmoor then. Think it's something like £13.64 a game at Millmoor behind the goals and more to sit in the half built stand.
£18 is only if you buy before the match, it's £20 if you pay on the day or £20 + £22 to sit in the half built stand

I was talking about the arrogance of Brum's prices? But you thinking everything revolves around you is also quite arrogant. Not in a good way ofc.
But yeah, now you've drawn my attention to it that post was pretty lame. Just the same as a Villa fan saying he doesn't care about the Merseyside derby doesn't make it any less important to scousers.

I think the average fan has reached their limit on the amount clubs are prepared to charge.
Something has gotta give.

I'm consistently ripped off at Hillsborough, despite us being consistently bad and their being 15000 empty seats in the ground
Never understood why they don't make the tickets cheaper so more people go --- better atmosphere, can't lose that much money if you sell loads more tickets, build up our younger fan base so they don't all follow United..
