Seems this guy is doing the rounds!
Has scammed 2 other people who have emailed me and done the same!
Thing is, you cant set up a dispute with a persons bid until after a certain amount of days, is emailing them and reporting it the best form of action?

My girlfriend put her phone up for sale, same thing happened to her. bid was about £35 with 30 mins to go, then BOOM £700. She then got some dodgy emails and notified ebay and paypal. Seem this is happening a fair bit....

dont know if someone said this, but the legitimate winner would have bid about £45, a price you said you now feel is unacceptable, you know have to relist it, potentially meaning you might get more than £45 for it. They've done you a favour no?
