Inform eBay, they'll refund your fees. Relist.
Whs.

A similar thing happened to me last week on a set of motor racing books. Some t*t bid well over the odds (about £100) and three minutes from the end said he didn't want it, bid by mistake (despite him having bid the amount six days previous). Contacted ebay, who struck him off and I offered it on a second chance offer.

Some real fools on ebay, tbh.

Twice I tried to sell my psp, first guy exactly the same as Eric said, thankfully I got the email a few minuets after his payment went through, no response for weeks, so just relisted it, bought again they said they'd send a postal order.

No answer for a week I emailed them, they had a car crash Monday, sod that relisted again, is ebay getting more slack lately I never had this trouble before.

I just used buy it now and paypal only any neg or under 20 feedback they can get lost.

Not that long to be fair. The guy who pulled out near the end just emailed me in the dispute console to call me a 'tw*t'. He has now emailed me via ebay (out of the console) to call me a '****'.

So pretty rapid responses there. OTF - what shall I email back. It's your call!

I haven't tbh. Not yet, anyway. He just sent me another though. Do ebay do anything about people like this? Got negative feedback from him too.
