Everything we ever seem to get is faulty so i should have expected this. Ive got everything plugged in and set up, but nothing will display on the monitor. When i use the monitor on my other pc it is fine.

There is power on the tower, and all i can guess is theres a problem with the monitor plug in thing on the tower. Is this very likely? Am just so f**ked off now

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

are you plugging it into the monitor plug on the motherboard? if so check to see if you have a graphics card and use that socket

Im not to much in the know about all this stuff, but i know it defiently has a graphics card. I forgot to mention its the blue cable, but im sure you already know that. As far as i can see, there is only one place i am able to put the the cable into.

I have something similar to the graphics card in that imagne, but the blue monitor cable i have will not go into it.

it doesnt work because your plugging the monitor into the blue socket. This is the onboard graphics which have been disabled because you have a graphics card. You need to plug it into the graphics card.

Okay, looks like you either need to buy an adapter, or another monitor.
