Dear all,

It just started doing this today. After the computer is turned on, after 5 minutes, Skype just disappears, no warning or anything.

So I uninstalled Skype in Safe Mode, and downloaded the newest version, installed, etc, after 5 minutes or so, that disappeared. Restarted the computer, and the same again.

When I try to access it via its shortcut, the cursor shows the hourglass for a second and then stops. Skype isn't shown in the running processes either.

So help please. Thank you.

I have been following that thread, but the regseeker stops working and won;t reload without a restart after 2 or 3 minutes.

It seems to stop at a certain moment, about 40% of the HTTP(?) files, even when I tell the programme to only do that sort of file. So I think I have a registry people.

I will have run an anti-virus scan, if that doesn't work, will I have to reinstall Windows?
