i don't get how anyone could like musicals to be honest, i think they're the worst possible form of entertainment.
i love going to the theatre, i really enjoy plays, but musicals just p1ss me off.
except for the south park movie, that was bloody awesome.

The best shows I've been to are Les Mis and the Lion King.
Also enjoyed Evita, Superstar, love My Fair Lady, and a few more.
I've been in Meet Me In St Louis, High Society, Anything Goes and a few G&S Operettas, which are always fun, but not since I left school.

My girlfriend roped me into seeing 42nd Street or whatever it's called, was on the same night as the Liverpool V Chelsea game last season as well. I'd been a bit of a **** to her that week so I thought I had to go to make it up to her.
Possibly the most boring night of my life, and our relationship didn't last too long after that.
Musicals are **** tbh.

Les Mis was ok in that live theatre (even if it is a musical) ifb.
That's the only musical that has ever interested me. I suspect that it's very much a case of ignorance being bliss.
The book is superior by quite some way though.
The drama students I have knew who loved musical theatre were quite easily the most absurd and insufferable ***** I've ever had to encounter (this from someone who did a law degree. Context tbh.
