I think the problem you have made is saying rugby commentators are better than football commentators. In no way what so ever is this the case with Brian Moore
Brian Moore is utterly fantastic. He's completely and utterly biased towards England in terms of when he's commentating on the England games, bu tthats what makes him fun.
If it's going well, he's praising them and pouring scorn on the other side, belittling them, if it's going poorly he's criticising them to high heaven. If there are 50/50 decisions going against England he's calling the referee a cheat and he's calling the opponents cheats.
It's so incredibly entertaining.

I really like Champion, like his conversational style. Not really into the statto-type commentators.
Will Greenwood's summarising ifb. "Welcome to Sardis Road Greenwood. Get in, get out, hopefully with all your limbs still intact". I like it when ex-pros bring a personal side to the game.
But yeah, Stuart Barnes is total shits.

Harrison is also awful. As i've said before. Calling Adam & Duncan Jones brothers when commentating on Wales not a very clever thing to do when you're supposed to be the expert.
Greenwood has been utterly fantastic in this world cup and I hope the BBC snap him up for next years six nations. He's clearly a very proud Englishman, yet he doesnt let that get in the way of showing respect to all the other nations. He comes across as somebody clearly in love with the game he played to the extent he watches enough of it to be able to talk about it with pride.

a twat. Honestly he's embarrassing. Watching the Aussie game atm it's so obvious he's a football man, getting so excited by tries - he was off the scale in the RSA - Tonga game.
