The media hype around Owen's injuries is frustrating but as English strikers go he is by far our best in terms of scoring goals. His records pretty good & even when he's having a poor game there's always the possiblity he'll end up on the end of something.

Owen is 27 and it's news given that he's probably England's most high profile striker at the moment.

5Live said earlier that he (Owen) is extremely doubtful for the Arsenal game this Tues. If he needs an op, best to get it done now rather than keep on patching him up, IMO.

Owen has scored his last goal for England imo. They had a programme on recently "Michael Owen: A Year In My Life" It was the most mind numbingly boring thing i have ever seen. He does literally nothing interesting, i wish he would die.
