So my best bet is to list the following schools:

<LI>1. Heycroft. Closest and best primary school in my area. Distance from Home: 0.52 miles.

<LI>2. North Street. My first choice if i lived in leigh-on-sea. Distance: 1.97 miles.

<LI>3. West Leigh. Another really good school in leigh. Distance: 1.90 miles.

And i would leave off the poor Eastwood Jnr. Distance from home: 0.57 miles.

If you would rather send your child to North Road/West Leigh than Eastwood then yes, thats what I would do. Gives you a much better chance of NOT being offered Eastwood imo.

Also, starting school is one of the most important events in a kid's life, imo it's something worth doing your best for to get your first choice.

Don't find out which school she gets until May 2008 though!

Yeah, get your application in early and avoid getting it in late as that can hamper your application big time if the LA are strict on their deadlines.
