Whens the best time to start applying for Christmas jobs? I'm going away to uni for the first time on Sunday and need some work when I get back. My holiday is Dec 14th-Jan 14th, would that be too late to start applying?

| Yeah. Most places get people in at the end of November at the latest. Places near me are getting them in at the minute.

| I've seen places with job ads up already, so I'd imagine they'll start taking people on before long.

A lot of places will be well into X-Mas recruitment already tbh, although places that apply loads of temps (Argos, supermarkets, woolies etc) tend to have a lot of people leave before the end of there temp period so there is a chance that there may be a few positions nearer the time.
