Talking PC or Arcade here ? Always loved Wonderboy
| I recieved one of those cheap console things full of old games for Christmas last year. There's around 100 games on it, but Wonderboy is the only one that's any good. </BLOCKQUOTE>
I played it last Xmas when i was back home, my brother had some Arcade Emulator, not sure if they're legal (?), if not, i promise to report him
Still a cool game. I find it amazing to compare the graphics back then to now but i still prefer most of the platform games from back in the day. I dont want 3-D and facial expression i want gameplay goddammit' !

Some of the games listed in the first post were real old, dating back to Amiga days. I remember playing these excessively back then, think I was probably better at some of them when I was younger
| Undoubtably better at ALL of them when i was younger, i reckon ! Not a chance now. No patience to get into games like that these days. Find shoot 'em ups and stuff pretty dull. Too old |

The guy that made another world, recently re-released it for its 15th anniversary. He re did the game in higher res graphics, whilst still keeping the same look. Another World
Its still a great game, and looks all the better for being updated.

Was browsing through the official Command & Conquer website earlier, and looks like Westwood have put the original C&C up for download. It said something about this only being made available this month, didn't say anything about the future, so I'm not sure whether its a limited-period download. Think both GDI and NOD missions are included, as well as some installation instructions. However, I'm not sure whether the special covert-ops missions are included with the download. Download size looks to be pretty hefty as well, with crappy transfer rates |
