Not going to spoil anything, but this confused me when I first starting watching it, it might clear up for some poeple. Ice Truck Killer storyline goes for the whole season and it's the main story.

My god I actually hate my parents. Basically the only thing they watch on TV is forensic detectives and stuff that gets shown on discovery channel. Like FBI files etc. They complain though that there is nothing on TV to watch bla bla.
So I recommend dexter and considering its of a similar nature to FBI files but with better acting and a good solid story line and characters they should love it right? WRONG!
Mum says the acting is awful in dexter and that apparently some of the speech was dubbed? Even claiming as the credits rolled for episode 1 "Look they are all foreign actors" Michael C Hall cant act apparently and she hasn't got a clue whats going on. All this despite the fact she read the news paper through most of it.
Dad said it was "ok" but not great and im doubtful they will even watch episode 2. Back to the awful FBI files they go.
Dont understand it :/

Has anyone read the second Dexter book? Doesnt the guy who plays Angel in this fit the Kyle Chutsky character perfectly. Or at least he does in my mind.

| Not quite. I picture him as being a bit greasier.

i watched the last one about the drunk driver.
it's a weird program although i like the actor who plays dexter. was in six feet under.
although it's abit stupid.
how does he know the exact height of both flyovers?
and when they were doing the blood splatter test in the womens house. no one was saying that she went round the corner were there was a small drop of blood. in fact it was pretty obvious since there was no blood trial. so why he has to set up all the lasers to say that is beyond me
also why did the attacker leave one really small drop of blood away from the main death scene? or will we know this later?
