It's more me recognising them so much, having already read the first two novels. Michael Hall is not how I pictured Dexter. I imagined someone slightly slimmer, slightly more heavily muscled. They tried to get that effect by putting him in that tight top, but he just doesn't have the right build. Obviously this is all in my head. That's the problem when you see books on the screen.

Just watched the first episode & its interesting viewing. Also having Julie Benz in is a major plus for me.
Will defo keep watching but no major speculations or thoughts are crossing my mind as yet. Want to get a bit more of a handle on the characters and stuff before venturing into those sorts of musings.
