Everyone's going to have their own opinions based on their experience - but for me it was great.

Big town centre with everything you could want, the campus is only 15 minutes away and pretty good - far nicer environment than any other uni I visited - and the actual teaching was generally pretty good too :thup:

Only real criticism I usually hear is the crime stuff. And I literally never saw any of it, basically all the "gang crime" goes on in a completely different part of the city from what I could gather.

Just went to the library and got all my core module text books for the princely sum of 0p, when most idiots (read: people who get silly money from their parents) would have to pay ~£120 at least

Try and mix with us locals at least a bit. Half the students seem to treat Durham like an all inclusive resort, staying in the uni bit of town and trying their best not to integrate. Doesn't help when a lot of them seem to be the Oxbridge reject type. So smug and superior.

Being on OTF means you aren't part of that demographic though :thup:

Finally, 'Klute' nightclub - It's not so rubbish it's good as many will tell you, it is actually a total dive.
