I was thinking more about the season ticket prices than the matchday tickets, I must admit. £900 is slightly more than the £400 I pay, so it seems hefty to me.

Lets not forget that Spurs are in the bottom 3, another reason to be a happy/smug Arsenal fan

Arsenal is being an exmaple of a club

But i wonder if they are playing well at the moment, by January will Wenger need to spend all those millions considering they keep their performance levels?

£460 for QPR.

Something not quite right there.

Thing is, I probably would have gone for a QPR season ticket but like 75% more for the next division down?

Even for the Hoops that's a big ask.

especially after a summer of spurs fans getting far too big for their boots. Lots of my mates are spurs fans - all they kept telling me was how wenger was leaving, fabregas was leaving we wouldnt be able to score without henry and how they would be in the champions league spot and we would be a poor mid table club.

Watching them demolish Derby on Saturday was sheer pleasure. Some scintillating football. And I say that as a Wolves fan, so I barely recognise it, tbf.

They do seem to be doing very well out of the "bye bye Thierry" factor. We shall learn a bit more when they play some of the other big teams, but for now the sun is shining, the combines are out reaping the hay, the lark is on the wing and Arsene is whistling a happy tune. It may be that the expectation level was a little lower; I don't know.

I agree with whoever said they need to win a trophy to make it a seriously good season, though imo that would need to be either the Prem or the CL.
