I don't think our standard ticket prices are much more (if any) than any other top premiership club.

I think our season ticket prices are a bit hefty though.

60,100 people are prepared to pay the prices every home match - so it's hard to justify that it's extortion since everyone has the choice as to whether they're prepared to pay the price or not. I'm not (on a regular basis) so I don't go... it's quite simple really.

I dont agree with that, if you look at the attached you can see that the vast majority of prices are either 880 or 990.

That includes 7 extra cup games which most other teams dont do as part of their season ticket. Yes we are more expensive that most, but not by a huge amount, and given that we are the biggest and best supported side in the countries most expensive city, its no real surprise.

Most people I know seem to be paying over £1000 so maybe that's why I think our prices are hefty.

upper tier, behind the goal works out at about 50 quid a game (including the cup matches). it's a lot, but not utterly extortionate.
