I've had cricket matches before where the last session has become a hazy memory of beer snakes and random cheering.

Actually BG, the lad at The Riverside wasn't drunk. Yet another thing you've got wrong about Boro.

It's about only way to make Rotherham matches bearable atm if how we played yesterday is gonna be a regular occurrence.

Never got the point about people getting taotally wasted at matches. I sometimes drink a few pints before the game, but never that much that I won't remember the game

Generally don't drink before games. Might get smashed after them, but normally turn up sober.

You pay enough for the ticket, you might as well have a clear head and enjoy it all.

And there's nothing worse than finding you're bursting for a p#ss and there's still 25 mins to half time. You're left with the dilema of sit there in agony or get up and go to the loo in the certain knowledge you'll miss a goal whilst you're gone.

just to add, last year i was at feyenoord away with rovers, in the grasshopper the afternoon of the game, smoked a few spliffs, on top of about 10 bottles of beer, and then ate some cake, then got on the train to the game, well pretty much the whole train journey from amsterdam to rotterdam is a blur, same as patches of the game, i was kinda just spaced out during it.

I went to Tynecastle in April 98 to watch Hearts v Celtic I was only 15 at the time and had bene drinking the night before. So day of the game I get up still half pished and start drinking when I get on the bus was pished by the time I got to Edinburgh. Couple of my mates wanted a drink in Edinburgh so I went to the off-licence to get them some but foolishly got myself more when I didn't need anymore. To cut a long story short I had to be carried into the ground and spewed everywhere and slept till the 80th minute to this day I dunno how I managed to avoid getting lifted. And to make matters worse the highlights were on tv that night and there was a crowd shot and you seen me sprawled over 2 seats sleeping most embarresing but I can see the funyn side now.
