Usually have a couple before going into the game, few more over the course of the afternoon/evening if it's an away day.

Just been reminded of when I went to watch Newcastle play Juventus in the CL. Most of the lads on the tour had had a good few beers (as had I), but one old fella had clearly had a skinful. He puked all over his shoes, on the bus to the ground and then when we had a toilet stop - he couldn't manage to stand up straight whilst having a slash in the layby and fell over into a bush. I bet he couldn't even remember being at the game, he was that hammered.

| I wasn't in the clubhouse, it was reported on the club's messageboard afterwards.

My (badly made) point was that why on earth would a club like Middlesborough terminate someone's ST on account of falling asleep.

Remember in the early 90s getting in a really bad way at Coventry, drinking those 20/20 drink things as chasers with pints, game just sort of passed me by, couldnt remember the score by the time Id got home.

20/20 ? I remember that - never tried it, but a couple of my mates were quite partial to it. Couldn't it be mixed with Diamond White Cider to make a 'Blastaway' ? :o
