Usually have a couple before going into the game, few more over the course of the afternoon/evening if it's an away day.

Just been reminded of when I went to watch Newcastle play Juventus in the CL. Most of the lads on the tour had had a good few beers (as had I), but one old fella had clearly had a skinful. He puked all over his shoes, on the bus to the ground and then when we had a toilet stop - he couldn't manage to stand up straight whilst having a slash in the layby and fell over into a bush. I bet he couldn't even remember being at the game, he was that hammered.

I wasn't in the clubhouse, it was reported on the club's messageboard afterwards.

It's true. Think it actually went to court as he was charged of being drunk and disorderly. Not sure if he got his s/t back, but it made the local news at the time.

tbf it wouldn't be hard, nice and quiet </BLOCKQUOTE>

My (badly made) point was that why on earth would a club like Middlesborough terminate someone's ST on account of falling asleep.

20/20 ? I remember that - never tried it, but a couple of my mates were quite partial to it. Couldn't it be mixed with Diamond White Cider to make a 'Blastaway' ? :o
