I have two ideas depending on the numbers we might get.
I think there is only 8 people per race so if we only get 8 people or we end up with 8 regulars then it will be simple to organise. We would then just have the 8 regulars racing on each track (13 main tracks with different routes like pgr3 I think). Maybe have two races per week with 10-15 laps per race.
1 point for the fastest lap
1 point for pole (depending on if we bother with qualifying)
If we get more than 8 people signing up for this which we probably will then it gets more complicated. My idea to get around this would be to have teams of 3 (via random draw) and have team races and the points won go to both a drivers and a team championship like in formula 1.
1 point for the fastest lap
1 point for pole (depending on if we bother with qualifying)
Team A finishes 1st, 4th and 6th and Team B finishes 2nd, 3rd and 5th. Team A gets 14 points and Team B gets 12 points which go to the team championship. The individual points go to the drivers championship.
Each team will race on each track once
How many times each team plays each other depends on how many people join but if for example we end up with 4 teams of 3 then each team plays each other 4 times on 4 different tracks.
We would have maybe 2 races per week per team.
In both cases everybody should choose their own car but in the same class as I think it would be crap if we were given a car we were rubbish with. R class would be best I think.
