| A agree, we did have a problem a few weeks back, with no upload on one of our lines, we ended up calling BT and talk talk three days later it started working again, there weirdos on AOL, but i think most if not all isp companies have crap support.
Also call in the morning, have a chat with one of the irish people, they will offer you a reduced rate that's what we did, 14.99 a month for 8mb.

If you don't have Sky, Be* do 8mb (fully uncapped) for £14.99/m or 24mb (also fully uncapped) for £24.99/m. Both good deals.

Orange, like 14.99 a month.
Wireless dies every now and then, but is fixed by reverting to wired then back to wireless.
As long as you don't have to use customer service, i guess it's ok for me.

| Zen were great when I was with them, you get what you pay for and all that.
Now with Sky via Vivaciti (An Entanet reseller like ADSL24, who were also great).
Was a complete nightmare to actually get Sky them to agree that they could provide me with their LLU service , but since then it's been a rock steady 12-13000 kbps connection. Pings aren't great though.

Virgin Media.
It was poor when they first took over from NTL, but I have very few problems now.

Been with Pipex since late 2003 (when broadband was available here), and while they've been good, they haven't dropped the price from £25 a month, and flatly refused to upgrade me from 2Mb (when I can get 6.5Mb in theory), saying i'd have to pay to do that - and according to their computer I was on 0.25Mb still. Want to move now Tiscali have taken them over as well.
Just wish cable, or even better LLU was available here, but as I live in a (large) village, I doubt it will happen anytime soon, which is a shame as the nearby exchange in Morecambe has it.
