Yeah I've read through that, nothing really makes me want to watch, but then thats what I thought about Dexter until realising its fb over the summer. Is there anything from there that you would say is must see?

Californication has been quite good, very sharp writing. OTF-esque, actually.The fact Duchovny reportedly finances it means there is plenty of T&A for him to view too.
Journeyman and Life were best for long term story telling. Both should get a minimum of one full season out of their main plot line, along with plenty of side plots involving background characters.
Chuck, Reaper and Pushing Daisies all seem a bit "been there, done that" to me, with Jake 2.0, Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls being examples of how these type of shows can end up recylced, to make way for the second lot of Jericho episodes (I know, different network).
Big Bang Theory has geeks and a very hot girl. In the shower iirc.

In conclusion, do what I do. Watch the first few of everything, to see if it grows into itself. If not, dump it. Pilots make judging a show hard, since some try to hard while others not enough. Everything I posted in that thread I'll give a few episodes to impress or disappoint me. Except Californication, since it's done that already for the past five weeks.

Quite a good first episode I think. Some interesting new characters by the looks of it. I can see Hiro becoming the Kensei he read about and then going back home

Chuck was a bit cheesy and ****. Nothing special really. I'll watch another episode to see if it improves, just because it's right before Heroes.
Journeyman was better. Quantum Leap type show but it's interesting and raised a few possibilities for the season.
