Life, really? It was decent enough, but I really didn't see anything that's going to set it apart from the other 2 million detective shows.

Pushing Daisies is the best pilot I've seen this time around. :thup:

Plenty to set it apart for at least the first season tbh. I'm thinking one of the last scenes here, where we got a clue to what he may have planned for occupying his spare time. Don't want to say too much, spoilers, etc....

More than enough there to catch my attention, although I don't watch many cop shows, so may be missing alot of the similarities you speak of.

Pushing Daisies was my favourite new show as well, like the premise, the people behind it and the pilot was just refreshing.

Chuck and Reaper were good too.

Also going to be checking out Journeyman and Life.
