When you flog something you can click to say it's been dispatched, but when you've bought something there's no way of telling whether the item has been sent if the other person doesn't email you is there?

When they click dispatch, it will also show up in your Ebay as being dispatched

it doesn't on items you've bought, just items you've sold. Which is a bit daft as you already know that.
I wondered this for a while. I came to the conclusion it must be for shops and similiar so they can keep track of what they've sent out or not. Possibly.
