No. Pressed info and it turns out it's Cliftonville vs Linfield in the Carnegie Premier League ffs
I thought that as well. The days when Monday Night Football was huge and they used to have Big games on tv. I cant remember the last time a 'big four' team played on a monday night.

1 Arsenal
2 Man Utd
3 Man City
4 Liverpool
5 Newcastle
6 Chelsea

18 Tottenham
19 Bolton

everyone predicted that at the start of the season iirc

I'd have thought the Arsenal v Newcastle game would have been a more attractive looking game than Pool v Reading, but that's TV Execs for you.

I must agree though, why not look for a giant killing rather than a game somewhere between a friendly and a Premiership game which'll have no consequences.

Saying this, it'll probably be 5-5 now.

Yeh there is excitement in lower leagues. But more and more lower league teams are getting into bad financial situations because of the prem and 1 day there might not be as many lower leagues.

Last few games i watched with lower league teams playing were awful fwiw.

Unpredictable due to lack of ability though, that was fun.

Should be showing Luton/Charlton, obviously biased though.

But yeah Pool/Reading does seem a boring choice to me, especially as Arsenal/Toon are playing tomorrow

Arsenal v Newcastle, R3, 19:45
Blackpool v Southend, R3, 19:45
Burnley v Portsmouth, R3, 19:45
Luton v Charlton, R3, 19:45
Man City v Norwich, R3, 19:45
Reading v Liverpool, R3, 19:45
Sheff Utd v Morecambe, R3, 19:45
West Brom v Cardiff, R3, 19:45
