Tbf, of the 9 in the Newcastle squad that are not from the UK: (counting Ameobi as UK)

Enrique, Beye, Rozehnal, Martins, Edgar, Geremi + Faye, Emre, N'Zogbia, Pattison

Pattison + Edgar both born in different countries but moved abroad as kids. (same too with Troisi)
N'Zogbia also signed as a youngster, not many people realised the impact he'd have.
That leaves 6, and 2 of them (Geremi + Faye) were both already in England when we bought them, not as if we've bought more foreigners to the English game.

So really, that only leaves Rozehnal, Emre, Baye and Enrique.

I was just thinking about how people were slating Wenger a couple of years ago for his team of 'foreigners'.
