Okay, so on Saturday Grays vice-captain Jamie Stuart took it uopn himself to break York striker Chris Beardsley's jaw in two places.
It wasn't an accident, it wasn't a late challenge, it was an assault, plain and simple.
Now, this is a lad with "previous". Charlton got rid as he "unknowingly" ended up with Marijuana and Cocaine in his system, and he is widely acknowledged to have "problems". His relatively short career has already seen 9 red cards.
While Grays fans have rightly condemned the act, the club have been remarkably cagey.
They have, as yet, failed to pass the video of the match to York City.
No-one from the club, including Stuart, has apologised to Chris, nor have they even asked after him.
Manager Justin Edinburgh limited himself to "I didn't see it, but the incident changed the game for us", which is staggeringly ignorant.
If there is any justice, this guy is getting criminal charges brought against him.
Any football club run by decent people would have apologised, and taken internal action. Grays are going to "wait and see".
I'd urge any Grays fans that post here to encourage their club to take action against this apalling thug of a footballer.

Grays Athletic - Should be ashamed of themselves Post #2
well in the match report on the Grays website it says:
"A moment of sheer madness and, quite frankly, brutality from Jamie Stuart left Grays a man light for 70 minutes. The vice-captainās elbow left the jaw of York forward Chris Beardsley broken in two places."
and a news item containing this: "We would like to take this opportunity to wish Chris a very speedy and full recovery. "
which would seem to nullify your argument somewhat, what were the two york players sent off for?
