I enjoyed it, but not being an aussie, just watching one Aussie Rules game was awesome, so perspective wise we might be a smidge different. get loads of really nice wine from margaret rivers... have a random meal at the revolving restaurant at the top of a tower, but then again that's pointlessly pricey.
bugger off to fremantle instead and do the prison tourh - that was pretty good, and the marine museum there are good.
Aquarium, about 20 min car wise away i think was alright. Casino's worth a shot though, made a few hundred dollars there the one time I went:thup:

Yeah, Freo's gorgeous - head down to the Little Creatures brewery and while away an afternoon chowing down on gourmet pizza and sipping on Pale Ale
Also Northbridge is good for going out in, my mates and I went over a couple of months ago and went to a couple of excellent indie clubs. From memory one was called The Bakery and the other one Amplifier. Well worth it if you're into that kind of stuff.

Took a road trip a few years ago down to Bunbury and Margaret River et al before heading back up to Perth, completely relaxing because the pace of life is pretty much non-existent. Fun enough.
