When i was 12ish yoyos came back into fashion and i spent around 6 months stealing the most expensive ones from hamleys and selling them in school.

Then they went out again, so i grabbed a box of magic tricks just to "keep up practice" and got caught.

watched this yesterday and it just showed why its such a problem., The one bloke spend 20k on cameras for his shop. when they catch someone all they seem to do is ban them from the store or call the police and they get a caution. Or one bloke got an 80 quid fine.

Hardly a deterrent is it

Never. I wouldn't be able to get out of the store as I'd be shaking uncontrollably and probably have sweat pouring down my face.

remember stealing a chomp when i was about 12. about 10p's worth :cool:

Did it loads in my early teens. Mainly computer magazines. My finest hour was managing to steal a magazine whilst walking round WHSmith with my Dad, with him never actually leaving his side, and keeping it hidden under my coat until we got home.

Stole a Galaxy Egg from Tesco once when I was about 6, 7. Sister went on to tell my mother and I ended up being carted to the police station. For a fecking Galaxy Egg. Didn't do it again though, so I suppose it worked.
