Nope, I never ran into 720K floppies but my original Mac uses 400K floppies. In fact I still have a working copy of an early Mac demo OS (v.85 even before the Mac was commercially released with v 1.0) and a couple of demo programs. Everything fit on a 400K floppy. Within a year or two of the release of the first Mac, 800K floppies became the norm.
I have a series of computers which can run every Mac OS ever released and most of the versions of Photoshop and Illustrator as well. It's fascinating to see how rapidly the computer has evolved and for those interested, we are close enough to the origins to be able to follow that evolution with hardware to boot!
