Lets see now..the Russian and Grant became good friends a while back..he snuggles in becomes pally wally with him and before long an unknown becomes director of football. The "special one" is aghast when he shows up at all his training sessions.
Along the way they lose to Villa, the russian decides to leave the stands after the second goal. A disappointing match to Rosenborg sees an urgent meeting being called to discuss the future of the club. Grant happens to be one of those who question Jose....
Clarkey who was the asst coach to Jose is asked not to leave, along the way...Jose decides to send a text to his 5 senior players telling them he's set to quit and he's had enough. The boys incidentally used the word "quit" and are then told to shut up.
Grant if he becomes the next chelsea boss may become the most hated manager in Chelsea history. I feel sorry for the fans. From all the news that's been pouring out and you need to sift through them to even get some semblance of the truth is that our little ol Grant has been playing with a very sharp knife.
I've read somewhere that Grant refuses to work on the Jews holy day..saturday, he simply doesn't train the team etc, or go to games. Israel had a game v Ireland on a saturday and the assistant had to take over the team...if true that will go well with supporters

It's actually that he's not working on Yom Kippur. Which is this Saturday.
it's a bit mealy mouthed of United to make public that they'll oppose any special dispensation given when he hasn't even had chance to gain the qualifications.
