I'm Swedish, so of course I've played floorball

Quit playing a few years back though. IIRC it's the second biggest sport here in terms of participation, and due to being such a young sport it is (Or was) the fastest growing one as well.

Well it's not ice hockey without the ice played indoors. Quite a lot of differences, even if it may not seem that way to someone who doesn't know both games. It'd be a bit like calling American Football "Rugby with pads".
As for Unihoc, I think that's the "PE version" of floorball. Tiny goals, smaller playing field, useless sticks etc. Bit like when playing football with your mates in your back yard. It both is and isn't the same as the real thing. And yes, Unihoc is the name of the first/biggest brand of sticks.
