Ok I've been hacked (my MSN), which is pretty annoying seeing as they can now go on whatever forums I've signed upto as me. Here's the story:

I came home today from Sixth Form, and find my passwords been changed. So I answered my secret question and changed my password and secret question just in case. I presumed that it was just a network error, as whoever hacked me didn't change my secret question. Well an hour later I got signed off and I find out my password and secret question has been changed.

Is it likely that I have a keylogger? I'm posting on my laptop just in case. Is it possible to monitor every network connection in and out of my computer? I've sent a support question to MSN but they usually take ages to reply.

What next?

What was your original password like? Most "hackings" of stuff like this (MSN, Email, online browser gamers) are people having weak passwords.

Oh, I just realised the other thing is leaving something logged in on a public pc and using that to do stuff.

This happened me early last year....

They hacked my msn because i left the tick to remember user and password! This means that all a hacker has to do is run a programme which basically relays informationj such as ur username and password. ONLY if that remember username and password box is ticked!!!

I contacted hotmail and they retrieved my address after about a week! in the meantime if i were u i would close any accounts u have been shopping on!
