Don't have a console, nor do I drink lager, but sure, continue your generalisations.

Really am pleased for you and the other oldsters, but times change. If I were to move out now I'd be down between a half and two thirds of my wage immediately on rent. Add to that any monthly bills I'd have to pay, food I need to eat and what have I got left? Not a lot, that's the answer. Costs me £60 a month at the moment to travel to and from work. Of course I could look for a place closer to town to make travel cheaper, but then the rent goes up.

So what? I should feel bad about living at home with my parents and using the surplus cash that I save by doing that to pay off my debts?

obviously you're right. life only got expensive to live when it was time for you to move out. dead cheap before that. you missed the window.
