Just about everyone I got something off gave me a card with £21 in it ended up with over £200 which was nice.

Went for a steak, maybe had a £20 from my grandparents or something. I think I was still jet lagged then, though.

My parents gave me a Japanese lacquer cabinter, about a foot high. I was euphoric, as you can imagine. Still got it though.

Mind you, that came after they gave me a pair of pliers for my 18th, so you could look on it as an improvement.

I love them, but they are clueless at times.
