been clearing out the loft today, and just came across a box of loads of old 12" and a few 7" records. now I have absolutely zero idea about their worth, I'd have thought give the lot to a record shop for a maybe tenner or something, otherwise just keep hold of them. then I remember this lad at uni who would buy records off ebay for cheap, then sell them back on ebay for more. he hadn't a clue about records or music so I dont know how he turned a profit.

My mate who is really into his music (6000+ CD's albums iirc, and millions of vinyl's too) generally uses the Vinyl Exchange website to price stuff up iirc
