Montreal
Need some recommendations for a hotel in Montreal in November. Everything I have looked at so far has really mixed reviews and although look great in photos could be shitholes in reality.
Looking at around £50 to £80 pn range. Things like meals and that aren't important.

Boo to groundwork, turn up and wing it
Can't recommend any particular hotels m'afraid, the hostels are OK tho iirc. Only spent one night in a hotel, which was when I was moving apartments, it was on Sherbrooke and has small, cramped rooms (name eludes me atm).

The Ritz-Carlton is only £423 for 7 days by the way. Too expensive for me but that seems pretty good considering.
