Interesting point actually on aforementioned Everton forum. A 4-year old was stabbed to death the other day, yet it's hardly got a mention.

The stabbing was on the news a fair amount.

Rhys Jones' murder attracted more attention because he was the victim of a shooting and played into the 'OMFG ENGLAND IS TURNING INTO COMPTON' theme of recent sensationalist media.

I get the feeling someone in Liverpool has an 'inside man' in the police force telling them all the "horrific things" that happen to the kids and the women so they can keep track.
