just popped into my local safeways and theres a sign saying they're not aloud to sell tobacco to under 18's from the 1st of oct.
that's the first i've heard of it.

It's all tobacco products and I assume lighters/matches but not 100% on the second bit. It was announced last year and was done in a very low key manner.

All tobacco related products including lighters, matches and gas refills will be over 18s only.

So you get the 16 and 17 year olds hooked on tobacco and then tell them they cant have anymore until they hit 18. Evil people.

Smoking ifs, and an utter waste of money tbh. Should just ban it altogether.
