I dont mind where people spend their money i just dont particularly want to breathe it in or having it stinking up my clothes.

Yeah, i know it's being knocked on the head in the UK, which is ace. They're trying it here again. This time seriously. Smoking is a massive part of the culture here. A couple of years ago they tried banning smoking in shopping malls only for everyone to completely ignore it and no one say anything about it
They're trying it again with the malls and moving gradually ino bars, restaurants, etc

They should just increase the ban by a year every year and then card/ID anyone wanting to buy them.
So 18 this year, 19 next year, etc etc. Eventually, I'd say once the ban reaches out to ban for under 30's kids won't want to buy them because the only people they would know who use them are uncool oldies who cough and weeze after ever drag. It would become even more effective once it hits 40 and 50 and onwards.
Would also mean the ciggie companies have time enough to draw back their operations and prevent wholesale job losses.
