The smoking ban has helped me majorly cut down on how much I smoke, which I'm very thankful for.

| Theoretically it will make the starting age for smokers about 2 years later than it is just now.
In fact, it makes almost a crystal clear distinction between schoolkids and non-schoolkids being allowed to buy fags, which will make it considerably harder for younger schoolkids to attain them.

i've got to say i found it more difficult to tell if someone was over 16 than if they were over 18. so it sounds a good idea to me.

tbh there are other uses for matches and lighters other than smoking so it's harsh if they're included
