Hell. Use a bong, geezer. Smoke it straight.
Ban tobacco altogether ? The very thought.
As Keyser said, "If the government had any stones". They're too afraid of upsetting the masses, and besides, as has already been mentioned, they'd lose all that lovely wonga they receive in Excise Duty.

| It's tough love.
"See how hard that was ? Now toddle off and don't start all over again when you're 18"
Prescriptions to help you stop ? Wtf ?
I will explain my hilarity.
You want to stop so you buy some patches/tablets/gum/lozenges - you stop buying cigs (otherwise there's no point even trying).
You're saving money from the off ! Why the feck should you get free/cheap help to stop ? :herman:

Living in Shepherds Bush whenever I go into my local shop to buy a packet of king skins and a ten pack of Malbroro lights, the man behind the till gives me a knowing look.
I'm sure we're only weeks of mutual understanding away from him asking me if I want anything "else" to go with my purchases.
| Hmm, I wonder if we use the same shop?! </BLOCKQUOTE>
Opposite corner from Nandos on the Uxbridge road...?
Come to think most of the corner shops offer a dazzling array of skins and smoking paraphernalia. </BLOCKQUOTE>
Close - I usually hit the corner shop thats closest to the Hammersmith & City Line on Uxbridge Road (on the way to SI Towers).

| BZZZZZZZZZT wrong.
Alcohol in moderation has health benefits. Junk food in moderation can easily be part of a healthy diet.

Apart from the old chestnut about a small glass of red wine being good for the heart, what are the benefits of alcohol to your health?
Junk food, by definition, is bad for you. Saying it can be 'part of a healthy diet' is disingenuous and takes nothing away from the fact you are wrong. Ok, we all need fat in our diet, but a junk food meal contains way over the recommended amounts for a single meal, and often even the RDA itself.

P.S. a bit of Googling suggests that red wine thing is a myth anyway, and that any goodness for the heart is outweighed by the other detriments to one's health.

I prefer the ropier shops further back down the road for my other purchases.
You must do the same journey as me everyday (except when the bloody line if broken ).
