Depends how dodgy you are iirc and wether you have Corgi registration etc. If you self-employ/work in a gang on some large site you could earn 1-2k a week. Esp. on the nuclear power sites.

If you work for yourself then the skies the limit (Depending on how much of a shady character you are)

However if you work direct for a company then it'll be around £10 an hour

I'm guessing it's the same money that everyone else earns. I am unaware of the BoE printing special plumber notes. Though for the good work they do in pornos (as suggested by ryan) they should get their own.

A couple of my mates have got into the plumbing trade and although the money could potentially be very good once you have learnt it after a year or two but when you just start out and have no qualifications or certificates in it then it is not great tbh.

One is on £150 a week Mon-Fri
Other im not sure but i know im on better than him at the momentif i work a full week, im on £50 a day btw.

The wife's best friend's husband has recently qualified as a plumber, though is still waiting for his first job. He put himself through college and I think it cost him about £3-4K ? I shouldn't imagine that it's long before he'll find something, because plumbers are still desperately needed, AFAIK.
